Little Moons Nails Mochi Magic with Sweet Simplicity

Creative production agency Another delivered ‘A Little Something,’ which ran across billboards in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Birmingham this summer.

Working directly with Little Moons' marketing team, Ross Farquhar and Milly Tuck, London-based creative production agency Another delivered ‘A Little Something,’ which ran across billboards in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Birmingham this summer, with plans for expansion to Germany and other markets. The project demonstrates the direct brand partnerships that are reshaping how ads get made, cutting through traditional agency hierarchies to deliver work faster and more collaboratively.

In early April, Little Moons shared a creative brief calling for photography with "human feeling" - authentic bites with "slightly ragged edges" and ice cream that looked "still frozen but invitingly soft." Another collaborated with in-house creative directors Ben Williams and Joe Williams to develop everyday snacking messaging: "a little something while you pick what to watch," "a little something once the kids are zzzing," "a little something that makes sofa-time sweeter", and achieved what the creative team called "the perfect kind of imperfect."

"Mochi are notoriously challenging to shoot," explained Another producer Emily Dessí-Makin. "Each bite and tear needed to be meticulously considered in styling and then captured quickly to get that perfect level of small melt line emerging around the edges before it turned into a puddle under studio conditions." Another brought in photographer Chloe Hardwick and food stylist Lucy Ruth Hathaway, both experts of frozen product work. Working at pace, they captured macro detail showcasing the "creamy gelato textured centre wrapped in soft and chewy dough with a light dusting."

Another's timeline showcases direct partnership efficiency: initial dialogue happened in early April, kick-off in late April, shoot May 16th, delivery May 27th. The agency fast-tracked post-production to hit media deadlines without compromising quality.

"One challenge involved packaging timing," explained Another producer Jennie Gruner. "Little Moons was launching new packaging, not yet through manufacturing. Rather than delay the campaign, we shot with existing packaging, then integrated new artwork into key visuals through post-production. This kind of agile solution defines our approach."

The visual strategy, Jennie added, features vibrant backgrounds that "pop against London's grey" with "typography that feels like a whisper, not a shout," demonstrating Another's approach to expressive, contemporary work that serves brand narrative without overwhelming it.

"This was a really lovely, smooth-running project," reflected Jennie. Working directly with the fantastic Little Moons' marketing team eliminated approval layers while maintaining creative standards. The agency's flat structure enabled quick turnaround while maintaining the expertise that 20 years in the business has taught them to deliver.

Ross Farquhar, marketing, innovation and sustainability director at Little Moons, confirmed the approach delivered, "Another has been brilliant to work with in bringing our 'a little something' campaign to life. It's been a brilliant example of the now myriad ways in which creative assets can be produced, and that one size doesn't fit all."

As brands increasingly seek direct relationships with production specialists, Another's partnership with Little Moons demonstrates how the right collaboration delivers both efficiency and craft when everyone understands that the best route to great work isn't always the conventional route.
